Not only does our brand new Split Cups look good, with it’s Aqueous Lining water-based coating technology, it is certified by Australian Standards to be both industrially biodegradable (AS4736) and the recently approved home compostable (AS5810).
Choose from two modern colour ranges: Ocean range featuring cool, blue tones and our Earth range featuring warm, rich, earth tones.
With our Truly Eco Aqueous lining coffee cup you now have the ability to visit your favourite café, get a coffee and put your coffee cup** and lid (sugarcane or paper) in your home compost **after you've finished knowing that’s going to breakdown completely.
It’s worth noting that Aqueous is a revolutionary cup coating technique that coats coffee cups with a water-based coating. Instead of printing this as an extra layer on top of the paper fibres, the coating is absorbed into them via printing similarly to water-based ink. Whilst this still offers the same benefits of being grease and leak-proof as conventional coatings, Split Cup requires less material and is more environmentally friendly.
